Argos store in Hatch Warren Robbed of Cash, fireworks and Computer Games
Detectives in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at a store in Hatch Warren on Monday, November 8.
At 5.40am, an exterior wall at the Argos store in Hatch Warren Retail Park was smashed and entry gained to the cash office. A substantial amount of cash, £650 worth of fireworks and 40 computer games were stolen. Detective Constable Dan Leese, from Basingstoke CID, said: "This incident happened during the early hours of Monday morning and it may be that someone saw or heard something suspicious. " "This incident is being linked to several other burglaries of commercial premises in the area where safes have been targeted." "If you have any information about who may be responsible, please get in touch."
