Attempted burglary at Hatch Warren Junior School
Police are appealing for information after an attempted burglary at Hatch Warren Junior School sometime between Monday, January 4 and Tuesday, January 5.
Between 7.30pm on Monday and 7.40am on Tuesday an attempt was made to access the school in Gershwin Road by removing the lock to a fire exit. However no access was gained and nothing was stolen. PC Darrin Carey, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “The school is located in a large housing estate and someone may have seen something suspicious in the area on Monday night. “We would ask anyone with information to call us as soon as possible.” Can you help?
