Detectives in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Brighton Hill on Monday, August 3.

Detective Constable Colin Squibb, of Basingstoke CID, said: “This was a violent attack and we are taking it seriously.
“It was an isolated incident and we would ask anyone with information or any witnesses to contact us as soon as possible. “We would urge anyone who is thinking about carrying a knife to think twice, knife crime will not be tolerated in Basingstoke.” Can you help?
