Tyres stolen from Basingstoke MOT and Tyre Centre
Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Basingstoke during the early hours of Thursday, July 30.

Between 12.30am and 1.30am the Basingstoke MOT and Tyre Centre in Lennox Road was broken into.

More than 100 tyres were then stolen and officers believe a white panel van was used during the burglary.

PC Karen Andrew, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “Although this incident happened during the early hours of the morning it would have taken a considerable amount of time to load up the tyres and somebody may have seen something.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw a white panel van.

“We would ask anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it might seem, to contact us as soon as possible.”

Can you help?

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Andrew at Basingstoke police station on 0845 045 45 45 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111. Mini-Com users can call 01962 875000.
