City Wall House burgled

City Wall House burgled
Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Basingstoke sometime between Friday, July 17 and Thursday, July 23.

Sometime during that period City Wall House in Basing View was broken into and items including fire exit doors, light fittings, fans and a hand rail were stolen.

PC Tracy West, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This burglary would have needed a lot of planning and a large vehicle would have been required to take the stolen items away.

“The building itself is empty and awaiting demolition. It has been targeted in the past and incidents like this must stop before someone gets hurt.

“We would ask anyone who has any information about the burglary to contact police as soon as possible.”

Can you help?

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC West at Basingstoke police station on 0845 045 45 45 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111. Mini-Com users can call 01962 875000.
