Three cars set alight in Bernstein Road
Police are appealing for information following an incident in Basingstoke on Sunday, June 14.

At around 12.15am three parked vehicles were set alight in Bernstein Road. Hampshire Fire and Rescues Service attended to extinguish the fires.

A black Vauxhall Corse, a silver Toyota Yaris and a black Vauxhall Astra were all damaged during the incident.

PC Kate Towerton, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was a potentially dangerous incident that we are treating as arson.

“The cars were all parked close to residential properties and it is fortunate that the fire did not spread.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in Bernstein Road at the time.”
