Boy robbed of bike in Norn Hill

Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Basingstoke on Tuesday, May 5.

At around 4.30pm a 15-year-old boy was cycling down Norn Hill when he was chased by a group of teenagers.

Two teenage boys from the group then caught up with the victim, punched him in the face and stole his BMX bike.

One of the teenage boys is described as: 

  • White
  • 5ft 10ins tall
  • Dark brown, shaved hair
  • Freckles
  • Wearing a t-shirt with the writing ‘I got lucky in Kentucky’ on it and a white ear ring in his left ear.

The other teenage boy is described as: 

  • Black
  • 5ft 5ins tall
  • Shaved, black hair
  • Wearing a blue or grey hooded top

PC Jonathan York, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This incident happened early in the evening and may have been witnessed by someone in the area.

“We would ask anyone with information to contact police as soon as possible.”
