Burglary at Bishop Challoner School

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a school in Basingstoke on Saturday, May 2.

At around 8.35pm a skylight window was broken at Bishop Challoner Catholic Secondary School in St Michael’s Road.

Entry was then gained to the kitchen area and an attempt was made to open a till, but nothing was stolen.

PC Colin Jackson, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who saw a group of youths in or close to the school on Saturday.

“We would ask anyone who witnesses any suspicious behaviour at the site out of school hours to contact police.”
