Attempted robbery in Basingstoke
Detectives in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in the town on Monday, March 30. A man then tried to pull her bag off her shoulder. The victim kept hold of the bag but during the struggle was knocked to the ground. The man then ran off. The victim suffered bruising to one of her knees but nothing was stolen during the incident.
Detective Constable Nigel Hancock, of Basingstoke CID, said: “This incident happened in a well lit area and may have been witnessed by someone. Can you help?
