Atempted robbery at Basingstoke restaurant Detectives in Basingstoke are appealing for information after an attempted robbery at a fast food restaurant in Brighton Hill on Monday, August 4. At around 10.45pm a man entered Pizza Hut at the Brighton Hill Retail Park and threatened the manager with a firearm and demanded money. However the manager of the store was unable to open the safe and the man left the restaurant and made off on a moped or small motorcycle. The man is described as:
