Police in Basingstoke appeal for witnesses after robbery Police in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in the Essex Road area on Saturday, May 24. Sometime between 3am and 4am a 28-year-old man was pushed over by two men who then threatened him and demanded he hand over all his possessions. The victim handed over his Sony Ericsson phone, wallet, security ID and car keys. The two men then made off. One of the men is described as:
“We would urge anyone who witnessed the robbery or has information about it to contact police as soon as possible.” Can you help?
