United Savings & Loans, part of the Hampshire Credit Union, are a not-for-profit organisation sponsored by Sentinel, Kingfisher, Swaythling, Downland and Sovereign Housing Associations and have support from Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council. We support the whole community, by providing choice for the ethically minded investor, and by offering affordable loans and savings for all. Through saving with United Savings & Loans members can rest assured that their money is being used to regenerate the local economy by providing financial assistance to those who need it most. Members also receive a dividend on their savings. Our organisation also aims to eliminate as much doorstep lending as possible, by offering low cost small loans, and encourages people to be aware of their finances and offer current accounts suitable for their needs.
